You can’t be to young or to old to have a list of things you want to do before you die. What’s on your bucket list?

Do you make a bucket list daily? or do you not want to think about it at all?

I know that any day,week or minute can be my last. So I constantly think of things I like to do before I die.

My bucket list might look like this.

1. Be a member of the Mile high club

2. Own a camp ground

3. Own a wine shop

4. Write for a national magazine or newspaper

5. speak in front of thousands who want to hear me

And it can go on forever

so how do you feel about death? what’s on your bucket list?

Now this is a story that is to unbelievable to leave unread. A women in the UK blames Google search and text messaging for her husbands affair. She claims that without those two things the women would have never have contacted him after a mile high club performance on an airplane trip home to her.

You will  learn that his lengthy affair was caused by everyone but her husband. I guess you have to blame someone. The part that put a smile to my face was the fact that she claims, if it wasn’t for modern technology this would have never had happened.

Are you ready to tell me who to vote for? Have you been telling everyone who they should vote for through text messages and any other type of communicating device?

If you are, I hope you are giving the people a reason why they should vote for your candidate. Getting the vote out does not mean sending a thousand texts saying “Vote For my candidate”. Granted it reminds us to vote. But it also tells me that you think I am dumb enough to vote for someone because you are voting for them. I could care less who you are voting for. You want me to vote for your candidate tell me why.

The critical days are here and both candidates are slandering the other. Joe the plumber is wrong and so is the claims of botched health care. So now we know both candidates will lie to get our votes.

Bottom line, this rant has been brought to you by all the people that send me the simple message saying “Vote  Obama”. Makes me want to vote the opposite way that they request!

For some time making space travel has slowly become a business. Recently we have gone one step closer to making it a clear reality for anyone able to raise $30 million, the reported price of a 10 day space trip.

Richard Garriott a multi-millionaire from Texas and owner of Space Adventures Ltd, has raised the money by doing experiments in space for those who funded his trip. He was able to fund is space journey which has been a dream since childhood and has proved that going into space can be like any business.

Groups want to learn what happens in space to their product or whatever it maybe. Why not pay an average citizens to do the experiments instead of a government employee. This way the employee is yours and should only answer to you. Of course safety is top priority.

The fact that pirates stole a ship two weeks ago and are making a threat to blow it up if their needs are not met was one thing, now another group of pirates have taken over one additional ship.

The latest ship to have control taken from it’s crew was a Greek vessel flying a Panamanian flag. It was heading from Southeast Asia to Europe. Any other details about the ship were not made available.

It is concerning that it seems, in general humans are becoming more desperate to  obtain their goals. Now terrorists,pirates,thieves whatever you want to call them are willing to kill themselves along with a crew and everything on the ship. They will do absolutely anything to get money. I know that this has been going on for decades it just seems different now.

What happened to the good old days when they just wanted to take over the world.

According to advocates, their is a shortage of the mighty ice breakers that help pave the way for ships in winter that carry everything from steel to salt along the mighty Great Lakes.

If we have another hard winter like last year the Great Lakes area will suffer, especially Wisconsin. The Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan is home to only one mammoth ice breaker which is run by the U.S. Coast Guard.

An additional ice breaker is needed to make winter use of the lakes reliable and the communities along the lake prosperous. Safety for the people running the vessels that carry the goods is also an issue.

Rep.Tom Petri a Republican from Wisconsin has endorsed the ice breaker and has said that “we need reliable snowplows for the roads, we need reliable ice breakers for the Great Lakes ”

So many things affect our economy. One thing going wrong can cause a ripple affect for everything.

The 9 million dollar electric fish fence was designed to keep the jumbo jumping Asian carp out of the great lakes. But the federal government is not ready to turn it on yet.

The electric barrier which is located in the Chicago sanitary and ship canal is just 45 miles away from where the fish are now. The reason the electric fence is not running is because of the barges that push sand and gravel along the straight canal, that was built a century ago to carry away Chicago waste water.

These fish have a tendency to jump out of the water and hit or knock out fishermen. Because of this habit they have virtually ruined any sports fishing where they manifest. If allowed into the Great Lakes they will ruin the ecosystem of the lakes.

No question about it this electric fish fence needs to be turned on. It needs to be operational now. Any problems with it regarding boats can be solved with common sense rules and should be. Their is a reason the Asian Carp has been nicknamed the “100 pound zebra mussel’ they destroy ecosystems.

If the fish fence is not put into operation the Great Lakes will become the Great Carp Pond and the only thing we can do is blame our federal government for not taken it seriously enough.

Over the weekend gas prices have fallen nationally at a higher rate than they were going up during the hurricane times. How low will it go? How low is it in your area? I am curious how low is the gas prices by you?  Let me know.

The price of gas for unleaded is $3.49 a gallon

Currently in Wisconsin an officer can’t pull you over just because you are not wearing a seat belt. Law makers are looking to change that, with hopes of receiving over 15 million dollars of federal money if they do .

Under the current law in Wisconsin an officer has to pull you over for another offense before they can ticket you for not using a seat belt. In 2007 the state has seen 67,695 convictions using the current method of seat belt violation enforcement. Seat belt violations in the state is the most common traffic violation with speeding between 11 and 19 mph over the limit the most common violation.

Past attempts to make this a state law has failed. However this time may be different with the federal government offering a huge one time incentive for a state that is already cash strapped. Under the incentive Wisconsin would receive 15.2 million at first and an additional 5 million later. Every state neighboring Wisconsin already has the seat belt law as a “primary violation” accept for Minnesota.

Without other compromises I doubt the stubborn Wisconsin law makers will adopt this change.

And the couple have two separate doorbells,two houses to clean,two mortgages and two separate tax bills. They also have a whole lot more room than they had before.

Imagine being as loud as you want as your spouse is a house away working in her office. If the money is available this sure is a sweet solution to making a bigger house in the city.
